The Read with Joy ™ Books introduce children to word families—a fundamental building block in a child’s journey towards reading. Readers will learn to understand common CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) letter combinations and sounds, recognize patterns, and build vocabulary as they practice making meaningful associations between the sounds and illustrations.
Each book has engaging stories and vibrant pictures to help children become familiar with new vocabulary while practicing spelling and pronunciation. Children will improve reading fluency and become stronger readers as they explore increasingly more complex words!

Jamin Tunstall
Founder / Author
Jamin Tunstall is an engineer, author, business owner, husband, and father of 3 wonderful children. Jamin discovered his passion for encouraging literacy in developing readers during bedtime stories with his daughter. He longed for beginner books his 4-year-old could explore featuring diverse characters. He was unsuccessful in finding many books to fulfill this desire— so, he decided to create them.
Oslyn Bryant
Graphic Designer / Illustrator
Oslyn Bryant is a freelance illustrator and business owner. Her company, Afro Angel, is an empowering business/series that focuses on the journey of being a black girl in modern society. She currently illustrates community projects, books, merchandise, and original characters. She has experience creating paintings, logos, a HS art exhibition and other commissions for about 3-5 years. Oslyn is an empowered entrepreneur that aims to share a sense of community with her people.

AMAZING FOR EARLY READERS
As a pediatric speech language pathologist I highly recommend this book to introduce phonological awareness and repetition of early sight words to young readers. Not to mention the key word section in the back paired with images is a great review prior to reading the whole book. Ultimately this book seems to build confidence in early readers. Hoping for a part 2 soon.
